These carefully blended spirits, aged for a minimum of 15 years, are finished for 3 months in air-seasoned casks at the Red Hook rickhouse of Widow Jane. Each release in The Vaults collection boasts bold flavors, influenced by the specific wood used for finishing, chosen from various regions and with different levels of air-seasoning. The finishing barrels for The Vaults 2023 were crafted from Chinquapin Oak staves harvested in Northern Kentucky, specifically selected for its limestone-rich soil and air-seasoned for at least 48 months. This unique finishing process allows for deeper whiskey saturation, resulting in a spirit that will surely appeal to American whiskey collectors. The meticulous blending process involved selecting only the most exceptional bourbons from TN and IN stocks, with barrels as old as 20 years adding layers of flavor.
