A pretty wild journey led to this special limited edition Bourbon from High Wire Distilling Co. It started with Steve Matthiasson's late-harvest wine made from the Flora grape, purported to be a cross between Gewurztraminer and Semillon. The folks at High Wire distilled a Peach Brandy from local SC peaches and finished it in Matthiasson's Flora barrels. Now we have a special edition of their famed Jimmy Red Bourbon, which has been finished in these very Peach Brandy casks. A picture in a picture in a picture!

Great finished bourbon

If you’re looking for a peach forward bourbon, this is not the one. It’s a very nice bourbon finished in peach brandy barrels that smooths out the finish with a very subtle hint of peach. This is one I’ll keep buying so I have it! Nice!
