Old Forester Birthday Bourbon (2026 Edition) is an award-winning, highly coveted annual vintage release celebrating the legacy of founder George Garvin Brown. For this 26th installment in the historic series, Master Distiller Emeritus Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Caleb Trigo selected a small batch of 212 barrels matured together on the third floor of Warehouse B—the oldest aging rickhouse at the distillery's Shively campus. Uniquely stored post-distillation for a six-day cistern period, the spirits entered the barrels at a slightly lower 124.4 proof, avoiding overly dry wood dominance to deliver a sophisticated, velvety mouthfeel bursting with notes of syrup-soaked raisins, bright banana, candied ginger, rich caramel, and herbal mint.
