The name Three Swallow is believed to come from the Power Family’s three coachmen, who would carry a small flask of POWERS for their long journeys—just enough whiskey to share a swallow without affecting their ride. This expression offers a modern interpretation of the “Pure Pot Still Whiskey” style that helped POWERS become a top-selling Irish whiskey. Aged five to seven years in second and third fill American oak barrels, with a touch (3%) matured in Oloroso sherry casks, it delivers a rich, full flavor with notes of honeyed spice and subtle fruit and citrus hints.

Outstanding!!!!!

I’m an Irish whisky kinda guy. I’ve tried them all from Redbreast to Paddy’s and for me the best is Powers Gold Label. I don’t think you can find a better Irish whisky than Power Gold Label. That is until I discovered Powers Three Swallow. This is a single pot Irish whisky that has all the smoothness of Powers Gold Label but with enhanced flavors. It’s a little bit more expensive BUT well worth it. I suggest enjoying Powers Gold Label as your regular go to Irish whisky but for that special occasion, like every other weekend, you can’t go wrong with Powers Three Swallow. Enjoy !!!
