Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. is widely regarded as a pioneer in the bourbon industry, advocating for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. He introduced several revolutionary practices that are still utilized, such as climate-controlled aging warehouses. The E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel is aged in Warehouse C, constructed by Taylor in 1881 and known for its exceptional aging capabilities. Every barrel is carefully chosen and Bottled in Bond at 100 proof, in tribute to its namesake.
